SpeedDigester Series – Safe, Flexible & High-Throughput Digestion Solutions

The SpeedDigester K-425 / K-436 / K-439 is designed to deliver safe, flexible, and high-speed digestion for modern laboratories. Safety is enhanced through sealed suction modules that efficiently capture harmful fumes, ensuring a secure working environment. When combined with the Scrubber K-415, fumes are effectively neutralized, enabling safe operation while significantly extending the lifetime of the fume hood.

The system offers exceptional flexibility by combining Kjeldahl and reflux digestion in a single instrument. It supports all BUCHI sample tubes (100 mL, 300 mL, and 500 mL), compliant with ISO 6060 standards for COD and other reflux digestion methods such as aqua regia. A dedicated suction module also allows reliable processing of aqueous samples.

High speed and throughput are achieved through rapid infrared heat transfer and faster cooling cycles. Sample processing times are reduced considerably, while continuous H₂O₂ addition via capillary funnels accelerates digestion, cutting overall digestion time by up to two hours. Thanks to its automated operation, laboratories can run digestions efficiently while freeing up time for other critical tasks.
